I was raised just east of Hawley in Pike County - my parents had 23 acres of woods and fields. 

Like my daughter in the picture, I spent a good deal of time  fishing in the pond and trying different techniques learned from Dad in order to "land the big ones." 

This helped develop my professional outlook as well - utilize everything at your disposal and then, find more to utilize...and always be ready to try something different!

A graduate of Wallenpaupack High School, I entered the workforce right away, starting as a cashier in a local supermarket and eventually working my way up to customer service, being assistant to the Head Cashier, and finally, getting into the technology side of the business as the store introduced scanners and computer-controlled pricing.   

My interest in photography led me to spend some time employed by one of the area's leading professional photographers.  I worked as a receptionist,  a one-hour film lab tech, and a free-lance photographer.  My background in photography  has helped me immensely in both web design and real estate.

In March of 1995 I married Glenn Rice, my soul mate (sounds sappy but true.)  We have three children, whom I stayed home with while they were young.  During that time at home, I built a successful web & graphic design business from scratch and worked from home creating websites and designing ads for various businesses, including local real estate agents. 

While creating and maintaining these websites for other agents, I fell in love with the idea of being an agent myself - and I began to pursue a career in real estate. 

Once the children were settled in school, I studied and worked toward receiving my real estate education and license.   I have completed two REALTOR® Ethics Training Courses, well over a dozen real estate courses from Weichert University, and am in the process of completing a course on risk management.  I am continually pursuing independent study in addition to participating in ongoing education provided by my broker. 

I am proud to work with Weichert, REALTORS® Paupack Group and am enjoying every minute of my real estate career.   Utilizing the skills I have learned and perfected - from basic customer service and courtesy, to computer technology and Internet skills, and even photography - I strive to provide excellent service, and seek to not only serve my customers well, but build relationships along the way.
